On July 26, my Cornerstone Sunday School class at Neffsville Mennonite Church in Lancaster, PA, asked me to give a reflection on my bicultural background and on my thoughts about the events of racial injustice that are occurring in the United States at this time. My reflection addressed an Anabaptist Christian response to George Floyd's death, the removal of confederate statues, and the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on communities of color.
